- Umrah Travel Advisory 2025: Updated Riyaz ul Jannah Visiting Times and Regulations
Last updated on 7 Dec, 2025
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced new visiting hours and rules for Riyaz ul Jannah. Pilgrims must now obtain a Nusuk permit, limited to one visit every 365 days. Instant approval is possible for those near the mosque. All visitors must enter through the southern courtyards facing Gate 37 for smoother crowd control.

Men may enter Rawdah daily from 2:00 AM until Fajr and again from 11:20 AM until Isha. On Fridays, extra hours include 9:20 AM to 11:20 AM and after Jummah prayer until Isha. Women can visit Rawdah after Fajr until 11:00 AM and again from after Isha until 2:00 AM. Friday hours adjust slightly, offering access after Fajr until 9:00 AM and after Isha until 2:00 AM.

Combined with the Nusuk permit system, the new timings support a smoother, well-managed visit to this blessed area.

Make sure to keep the digital permit ready, as it will be checked at the entrance gate before your visit.
