- Gulf Air Announces Direct Flights to New York JFK Starting October 2025

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, is set to resume direct flights to the United States with a new nonstop service between Bahrain International Airport (BAH) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Beginning October 1, 2025, the airline will operate three weekly flights using the advanced Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
This announcement comes with Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening international connections and enhancing travel options for global passengers.
Initially Gulf Air will operate following three weekly flights between Bahrain and New York.

Passengers flying on Gulf Air’s new U.S. route can look forward to a premium travel experience aboard the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The aircraft is equipped with 282 seats, including 26 luxury Falcon Gold business class suites and 256 economy class seats. Known for its spacious design, quiet cabins, and state-of-the-art features, the Dreamliner ensures a relaxing journey across the Atlantic.
Gulf Air flights will arrive at Terminal 1 of JFK Airport. However, by mid-2026, the airline plans to transition operations to the brand-new Terminal One. Gulf Air tickets for New York route are already available for booking through the Gulf Air website, mobile app, and authorized travel agents.
