Dubai Fountain near Burj Khalifa to Remain Closed for 5 Months

Emaar properties the company operating Burj Khalifa and The Fountain has announced a 5 months closure of The Dubai Fountain for maintenance.

Dubai fountain is the most popular attraction in Dubai located in downtown Dubai near Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world). The Dubai fountain attracts millions of spectators every year through its breathtaking choreography of music and lights.

Closure Period of The Dubai Fountain

Emaar properties, the largest developer of property in UAE said on Wednesday 5th February, 2025 that the attraction will undergo for an upgrade and maintenance spanning over the period of 5 months starting May, 2025.

The renovations will improve design performance and choreography of the famous fountain show in Dubai.

Regular Operating Hours of Dubai Fountain

During regular operations, the visitors can enjoy the mesmerizing performance of the attraction during following times:

Afternoon shows

• 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm Monday to Friday
• 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm Saturday and Sunday

Evening Shows

• Every 30 minutes between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm daily

Each show lasts around 5 minutes with beautiful display of dancing fountains, lights and music.

How to get to Dubai Fountain

The Dubai Fountain is located at Burj Lake, Downtown Dubai, right next to Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. The most convenient way to reach is to take Metro red line and get off at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station. Walk via the air-conditioned walkway (about 10-15 minutes) to reach The Dubai Mall. Follow signs to The Dubai Fountain at the mall’s exit near Souk Al Bahar or the Waterfront Promenade.
