AirAsia, a Malaysian low-cost and reputed airline known for affordable fares and extensive routes across Asia and beyond is starting its direct flight operation between Malaysia and Pakistan from 30 May, 2025.
The airline will operate 4 weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Karachi, connecting travelers from Pakistan to Malaysia and 19 other countries.
AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail expressed excitement about the airline’s expansion in 2024, announcing the launch of flights to Karachi. He highlighted Karachi’s rich history, growing economy, and strategic importance in the South Asian market. As the only low-cost carrier on this route, AirAsia X aims to connect Karachi with its vast network beyond Malaysia, offering travelers convenient access to destinations like Australia, China, and Thailand through its Fly-Thru services.

As per AirAsia's website, return tickets from Karachi to Kuala Lumpur are priced at Malaysia Ringgit MYR 859 (PKR 58,999) in a special discounted introductory price. The tickets can be booked directly from AirAsia website or AirAsia MOVE smartphone app or through our flight booking options.
AirAsia has opened its first office in Karachi to facilitate reservation and ticketing services to walk-in customers. The sales are now live on AirAsia website and AirAsia city office in Karachi.
