Pakistan has ever changing rules for limits and restrictions on the amount of currency each travelers can take abroad. The passengers have per trip and annual limitation on export of foreign currency. Learn more in this article.

As per last circular from State Bank of Pakistan on 8 November, 2022, following are currency export regulations. The amount must be in foreign currency and equivalent to following USD amounts.

Passenger Type	Max Per Trip	Max Per Year
Ages 18 and Above	USD 5,000	USD 30,000
Under Age 18	USD 2,500	USD 15,000

Export of Cigarettes

Free export of up to 200 cigarettes (or 50 cigars) is permitted per adult when traveling from Pakistan.
